Crosswinds increase fuel consumption by up to 40% unless something is done about it. VorBlade™ Systems are the ONLY drag-reducing aerodynamic devices on the market that effectively fight crosswinds and reduce its negative impacts by half.

One windy day can cost you up to $300 extra in fuel. It is much more than VorBlade Cab System. Crosswinds also increase your tires and maintenance cost.
Crosswinds are responsible for each third truck accident. Do not exhaust yourself fighting crosswind. How much is your safety and comfort? Is it worth 39 cents a day?*
The most effective motor vehicles drag reduction vortex generation systems
VorBlade systems were independently tested and certified through SAE J1321 protocol. Our systems are EPA SmartWay Verified and provide complete aerodynamic CARB compliance for your trailer.
We do what others only claim they do. VorBlade is the only device designed to trap airflow at any angle and insure the best performance
Crosswinds could double the air drag adding up to 40% of fuel consumption and 25% to driver fatigue. At crosswinds, turbulent low-pressure wakes are formed behind and on leeward side of a vehicle. These wakes have much larger size than without crosswind thus increasing significantly fuel consumption. Asymmetric airflow creates large side forces and yaw and rolling moments continuously pushing a vehicle towards leeside and increasing driver’s workload. The forces and moments might throw the vehicle from a lane or a road or roll it over thus increasing greatly driver’s fatigue and risk of an accident.
VorBlade-generated vortices adapt naturally to any changes in driving conditions. Crosswind itself carries the vortices towards low-pressure zones (LPZ) on backsides and a leeside of a vehicle. These powerful small-diameter spirals pour intensely high-pressure air into the LPZ, shrink it and compensates effectively low pressure. Altogether those effects reduce greatly air drag and the hazardous side forces and yaw and rolling moments. Unique VorBlade Crosswind MitigatorTM subsystem consists of VorBlade generators on both sides of a trailer, box truck, bus or RV roof hence strong lengthy vortices go straight towards LPZ on the leeside of a vehicle. Affecting directly LPZ on the vehicle’s leeside is the only way to reduce efficiently crosswind-related air drag and dangerous side force and moments acting on a vehicle.
VorBladeTM systems work effectively on semi-trucks & trailers, box trucks, buses and RVs. The systems reduce harmful impacts of crosswinds up to 60%, improve vehicle’s stability by about 50%, reduce driver’s fatigue by about 15% and a risk of involvement in accident by 9%.
